from some other view
imagine that you heard Pryda - pjanoo, this is the most known track in Europe (IMO), now you hear that this DJ is coming to your city and you can't listen him in radio or whatever where else, this hiding and keeping this a secret is making a DJ big star, this all looks like a VIP music

There are many good producers, who suck at DJing, so there is not enough to know track of that DJ, more important to hear his live sets + most people want to have recorded set, when they was on party, to listend it again and remember that evening. And there is no comparison between to be in club and listen it at home. If you're talking about "I won't go to the club as it's expensive, i'll better listen live broadcasting at home", i think there is nothing to compare. It's the same as to watch Terminator 2 in the cinema and listen only sound from movie on mp3 player.:D And on my opinion most known track in Europe is In & Out Of Love from Armin van Buuren, radio played it so much, that my differend friends asked me about it, who do not listen that kind of music, and my girlfriend also heard that track so many times on the radio and she liked it. From Prydz his biggest success was with Call On Me, it's for sure. Then he became from nobody to superstar with booking all over the world on biggest parties. Usual people (mostly girls) very like tracks with vocals (In & Out Of Love), i heard from girls many times, that they do not understand, how i can listen tracks, if they don't have any vocals. Armin van Buuren do not play exclusives, he do not forbid to broadcast his sets, he opened for people and people like it, he's number 1 for 2 last years and he could have much more aspiration, than Prydz. It's all about DJ's human nature. Like Tiesto asked money for interview on radio after his set, he even wants to earn on talks about his new releases. Shame on that Tiesto, he will never be again number 1, he doesn't deserve it.

Well, all I can say is Prydz is more of a pure musician, rather then a DJ/producer. He doesnt milk out anything, opposed to an Armin or Tiesto. So no need to compare Eric with them. If you know the stories behind Call on me, and Pjanoo, opposed to e.g. Muranyi, plus know the reason why he has that many aliases, youll find out he does it for the love of the music, not for the cash. Ever wondered why people are already waiting 3 years for his artist album? ;)
Anyway, i see think i have an idea of what youre meaning, however i disagree on you.
djash
I don't know who are waiting for his album, because he do not produce good tracks since 2007. Last good track was Armed, which played by Tomcraft at the beginning of his sets, even my mother liked it:p If he's so scared, that people can record his super exclusive twice unreleased tracks, how he can play them?????? Thousands of people can record them on phones and share through the web:eek: But if his luggage will be lost in airport, then someone can find it and sell for million $$$. Then he will feel like lost his sence of life. Poor Eric, he's young and scared like an old that someone wants to steal his last jacket. Honestly, if i have some brand in organizing parties, i would have a phone call with his manager about all this stuff and how to get his set broadcasted, maybe he won't use some exclusive tracks, maybe we can put jingles in some places of those tracks exactly where he decided to insert. I really want to people know what they loose by missing my parties (i mean figuratively if i organize parties), it's a good promotion for me (for my organizer brand), for club and for DJ. I really don't know what style do Eric plays know but i do knot visit parties, if i don't know what to expect (trance, house, electro or drum'n'bass). If someone says me that some DJ will play in our city, then i'll looking in the web for his fresh livesets, listen them and then decide if i like it or no. For my parties would be precondition to broadcast whole parties. And i open minded to discuss it with DJs in future to make it possible even with some changes. So you'll can get more broadcasted livesets of favorite DJs.

it looks like ash just dosn't like Pryda that's all : D

I don't like when DJs forbid to broadcast their sets, like this is gallery and they forbid to make fotos of their exhibits. The same with Tiesto, now we don't have for a few years his broadcasted sets, so his popularity goes down, as he doesn't remind people about him. Now you can see even Axwell stands higher than Eric in DJ1 Top 100 DJmag:haha:

Tomcraft is 10 times lower, dsn't mean he is any bad or something else, this DJ poll shows just how good is the DJ crew

Exactly in such case, it shows that early was Eric Prydz liek first man from Shwedish House Mafia and then somewhere others, they where like in tha shade of Eric, now times change and now they are at the same level, and for me it seems like they are separated from him. But i noticed a few years ago, that DJ Mag top 100DJs is just shows how popular tracks of some DJ (only like producer). + as usual all UK DJ in top, like Oakenfold (who remember that name at all now???), Judge Jules (absolutely nobody for me, not even 1 famous track from him and sets with different styles) e.t.c. Tomcraft plays good sets now, but he doesn't produce such popular tracks like early (Overdose, Prosac, Silence and Loneliness (i dislike that track, but it was his most successful track, after that one he had bookings all over the world on biggest events), so you can't see him even in top 250! But Oakenfold doesn't produce something, plays ty sets, but english know him and vote for him to support home DJ.

Guys, don't want to disturb you in your general discussin about broadcasting ;) but is there anywher a playlist available from Dr. Lektroluv or also from Prydz? I liked very much the 3rd to last song from Elektroluv (it was the one just before "Day n' Nite") and the 2nd one from Pryde (I think it was this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Etq2vUvF1q8). Can anybody help?
