UFC's base PPV for a North American show is probably 275-300K. Silva vs. Cote did 300K but it did well above usual levels in Chicago because of it being a first time new major market.
Everything above 275-300K is determined by the main eventers. St. Pierre sells tons in Canada. Lesnar, Couture, Griffin, Jackson, Liddell and apparently even Evans since the KO of Liddell, and probably Penn and Ortiz make a very significant difference, all of varying degrees. |
