gawd....I hate college ball....its even worse then NBA
weymouth
college ball is much better than the NBA. The kids actually try in college where as the professionals are just collecting a paycheck. Basketball in the NBA doesnt even start until the playoffs, the regular season means very little.

College players play for the future paycheck....thats it. All but the last two minutes off a basketball game means nothing.....they should just play a 2 minute game...maybe then it would be worth watching.
Moral Hazard

If there was no gambling involved, would anyone actually give a about this tournament?

Poor free throw shooting, no-name players, turnovers, 35% field goal in-game shooting percentages, I don't care how "hard" these kids are playing, it's still basketball. Could you honestly name two players off your head from every single team in the top 25? No.

It's absolutely annoying hearing people who know absolutely nothing about this sport come out of the woodwork once a year during March so they can get their "brackets" in.

Gambling aside, I ing love march madness, and while I usually fill out a bracket, I never have put money on it. I just legitimately like collegiate sports and basketball happens to be one of my favorite sports to watch, and there's no denying that a 64 team tourney makes rooting for underdogs that much more fun.

Unsure where all the nerd rage over college basketball is coming from but I find it the most exciting time of the year for sports.
