This is the latest track i've made called "Realization." it's psytrance.

Any comments/suggestions/bashings appreciated!

Having a listen... Nice crispy percussion. That dong... hmm, kinda sticks out a bit.

The bass rhythm is a bit repetitive, the first melody is a little bit too. Perhaps a nice filter opening could help??

Ahh, the break down is refreshing, although the bass hasn't calmed down. Quite different to stuff i've heard, not really my genre, but I'm wondering where the reprise is. Nice vox, they work. seems like you have a lot of ideas in one song.

The mix sounds ok, I can hear it all and nothing sounds over compressed or dull. good production, not my style but better than I can make!

thanks for that! been working on trying to get a clean sound for nearly a year now. i'll prolly lower the dong sound too!

no worries, yea dongs are a bitch, they sound awesome at times and add a real flavour to the mix, but are tricky to make work. I haven't figured it out yet either!

The kick seems anemic.

Overall, the leads are a little harsh. You might try tweaking them through a filter, too - they tend to be a little too static, throughout the tune.

Did you get that banging pipe sound from an old Roland R8?

I kind of like the lead sounds but I'm not sure about their position in the mix.

The over-all mix is nicely done - everything is hear-able.

The hats ought to be changed up a bit more. The rhythm seems sparse.

I like the part when the tambourine comes in - kind of wish it would last a little longer.

VERY cool on the break.

Nice building and mixing with the vocal samples.

The bass-line does get repetitive.

Overall, I like this song. I think it could use a lot of development. I hope to hear future versions.
