Each month, Jacob will be highlighting the latest releases from Silk Royal and its affiliates, as well as music from other leading labels around the globe. The show will also feature a one-hour guest mix from an international DJ-producer -- an artist who shares Silk's overarching commitment to visionary and emotive electronic music. |

Matt Cerf, one third of the music sensation known as Cerf, Mitiska & Jaren, has had an impressive couple of years. In 2001, his track “Empire”(Vandit) put him on the map when he was part of Second Sun. Later that year Matt decided to fly solo and has since established himself as one of the finest producers in melodic progressive, trance and house music. The French-Canadian producer and his team, Shawn Mitiska & Jaren, were nominated for an International Dance Music Award in 2008 for “Best New Progressive House/Trance Tune” with their summer 2007 hit “Light The Skies”. The track debuted shortly before WMC 2007 and quickly caught the attention of top dj/producers Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, and many more. With more than fifteen originals (You Never Said, Saved Again and the stunning new single "Man On The Run" with Dash Berlin), twenty remixes, and an album in the works on Armin's label Armada, it’s safe to say that Matt Cerf is making himself heard, both on the radio and on the dance floor. |

| Thanks Brad -- Pondus is a recent favorite of mine as well. Was glad to see it finally released a few months ago, after initially airing on Jody Wisternoff's show in December of 2007 (!) |
