What should I do? My Aunt is very ill and might not make it and WMC is next week. I feel really bad because she's very close to me. She's like a mom to me. My dad & I don't think she's gonna make it. We think she's gonna pass away.
I told my dad I don't wanna go to WMC anymore, but I don't think I can just bail out since I have 4 other people depending on me and everything is already paid for and under my name.
Dad says I should just go and clear my mind, but I feel guilty, really bad, and feel like .
What should I do? What you guys think?

| or try to make arrangements with where u are staying and let your friends check in |

you can always go back to wmc next year. the time with your aunt you may never get back. if your friends dont understand that then they are ty friends anyway so em.
plus, dont you think you may go on a bad one while in miami if you already feel guilty just thinking about it? |

Yup. My dad just came home and he said my doctors are giving my aunt a 1% Survival rate right now. :( He's leaving to Mexico in an hour.

Why do you feel like she won't make it? What does she have? My grandma has been in a convalescent hospital for over 5 years now. She has a very strong will to live. Some people let go, others hold on.
I think you should spend lots of time with her now up until your flight. Make the decision to go or not go on the day of your flight.
God forbid if your aunt passes away while in Miami would you fly back early?
Sorry about your situation. Sounds like a lose lose situation. |

oh jesse i'm so sorry to hear this!!! miami will always be there, go be with your aunt.
you can call the hotel and tell them what's going on, i'm sure you can get everything switched out of your name and into someone else's. we had to do that for Lovefest in SF when my friend hurt his back and couldn't go and the room was in his name. besides it's over a week away, the hotel can work with you. |

| Really sorry to hear man. Your friends will definately understand so its totally your call. I'm sure she would want you to go, but it depends if you can go and have a good time or will she always be on your mind when you are there. And Pat has a good point that you might do something you don't want to do because of it while in Miami. Only you know what is best to do bud. |
