Intro to 1:20 tends to be a little monotonous.

I would think about putting in/adding on a new bass-line. The one you have is okay, even though it lent the song a bit of an 80's vibe on the down-beat.

The chord progression that comes in, starts off nicely, but then falls out of key on the back end.

The pads have potential, but there's a bit of a weird attack and more key problems - accidental notes. Edit that MIDI! EDIT: You might also think about fixing the velocities to a single variable, like 64.

The break is sparse and I'm a huge fan of the gated pad taking over the down-beat after the re-launch.

The slow-attack/reverse cymbal, works nicely, but is being way over-used.

Too much of the song is based out of the same pattern. There really ought to be more to it, than that.

The second break - a little weird - I'm hoping for yesterday's "Ring of Fire" cover by J. Cash on American Idol weird, and I kind of got what I'd hoped for. It needs finesse, but you should work with what you have, already.

I'm not at all sure about using the ducking compressor on the second re-launch. It isn't doing much for me.

I'm sure you're wondering if you did anything right, at this point, and let me assure you, that you did.

There are a lot of really solid ideas, but this tune is still a diamond in the rough. There are some mistakes that need to be ironed out and some cliche's (ducking and down-beat gating) that ought to be quietly murdered in their sleep and then disposed of in a flaming barrel of diesel.

The overall breadth of the track ought to be developed more. Hi-hats and percussion could do wonders for it. Development in progression is something that is definitely called for.

Just to be clear, the melodic harmonies that are being gated/ducked ought to stay. Just get rid of the effect and work at placing them in the context of the song, differently. You ought to be willing to push your keyboard playing a little harder and strain your hand but you do have the requisite talent to pull it off.

The mix is good. The chords, that fell out of key at the very beginning, could be a little louder, but really, really, level-wise, everything is nicely balanced.

The upshot is, this is a good showing. I'm looking forward to a finished product/more mixes. The ideas are solid. They just need finessing.

I'm not an ableton user so I can't answer authoritatively but my thinking is that it is a feature in ableton that allows one to send an audio signal to an outboard sound processor and/or a mixing board (DJ mixing, for instance).

If you aren't using any outboard gear specifically designed for processing sound (ie. a reverb unit or a hardware compressor) I wouldn't worry too much about that feature. As I said, I don't use ableton but there are a lot of producers who do use it.

You also might try searching the Production Studio. If you can't find anything in there, you could start a thread.

Did you read the manual? Did you at least search it or look in the index?
