(Copenhagen, DK) - The man who brought us both white hot tech jams as fairytale electronica, Trentemøller indeed, is about to release his first-ever mix compilation. Titled Harbour Boat Trips, Copenhagen by Trentemøller is scheduled for a May release on, how could it be any different, the Poker Flat label.
Trentemøller seems to have put his floor-filler factory on hold, as this album has been dubbed 'a kaleidoscopic array of sounds, compiled from four decades of music'. Yup, that indeed does mean that this album is expected to be a thick-waved atmospheric affair such as his lauded The Last Resort album, which we still consider to be one of the best electronica albums of the past 10 years. Further info has not yet been made available, but we expect to have a full review for you within a few weeks. |
