I'm writing this essay for my Tisch application and one of the questions is

"If you were stranded on a desert island for the rest of your life, which 3 albums would you take with you? explain why you've chosen these albums and, specifically, the aspects of the recordings that strike you in terms of production, artistry, marketing, promotion etc."

to be perfectly honest, I dont give a about artistry. If I'm stranded on an island with 3 albums then i want QUANTITY. So far I've chosen Biggie's Ready to Die (double disc), Bob Marley's Legend (delux edition) for its timelessness and its straight island music, and i'm trying to decide what electronic album I want to bring. Since I've only been into EDM for around 4 years, I don't know exactly who has released ill double albums

i've listened to PVD's Out there and back and I like it and all, but I was wondering if ya'll could point me in other directions just so I know whats out there.

I understand that armin's ASOT yearly releases are double discs, but what else is there?

thanks
