i think since you're new here, you get a pass.

ps. the search function sucks.
Jeff Button
I like the sets Andrew has been putting out lately as well.
Haven't had a chance to catch him lately, mostly due to conflicting gig's.

As far as producers, I think James Teej is putting out the most original (and best for my taste) - but have to give credit to Carlo, and The Junkies for making some serious noise on Beatport.

Brad wasn't a resident at System.

The original residents were Mark Scaife and Deko-ze.

Then Coleridge came on board.. Deko-ze left not long after

After Scaife got the boot, Deko-ze came back.

If i recall correctly the release boys also started playing on the regular towards the end.

Luke played in the back room on the regualar early on during the breath nights.. then started to get big and started traveling. Came back for nights in the mainroom.

At least that's how i remember it

I hear that Mutton dude and Andrew kid are pretty darn good. And that jan jan or don don or whatever guy.

They all play something interesting and NOT typical of most toronto locals (IE, something other than tech)

I remember one 7-hour Luke set that was particularly good.

My absolute favourite has been and always will be Nathan Barato... though I know he's not actively gig'ing lately, his beats were instrumental in my love affair with house music. Besides the infamous six hour cozo set he and Carlo Lio did together--

--I'm also a fan of his second promo CD, Intense XS. I love the mix between No More Conversations and Mistress Barbara's "I Love You".

As always, Addy's beats are sic, though I find his rolling base lines on the darker side of life lately, full of dark energy. I like it, but I can't listen to it all the time (speaking of his Basement sets). One of my favourite sets of all time by Addy is his Guv 10 year set. I believe you can get it here:

Lastly, even though his personality kinda sucks (damn restraining order) my buddy Cam Maxwell has been doing a wicked job in the clubs lately. He kept me and my crew glued to acid lounge for his seven hour set a few weeks ago (tribaaaaal!), despite J00F and Chris Lawrence playing in the main room. I'm not big on his electro (Ok, I like it, but I don't LOVE it), but his tribal and tech-house is bang on. I hear he is a huge fan of jabber (or gabber, or whatever?) though?

You can grab his latest CZ tech-house set here:

And yeah, him dropping Carlo Lio's "Last Days" in this set totally re-made me a fan of Carlo's stuff--I'd obviously been out of the loop. Well done buddy!

Toronto DJs are a gold mine of talent. Love it.
