Percs are a bit too loud i think ,

Pretty nice melody , but why does it disappear after the breakdown?
In fact , i have seen many great melodies that disappear after a breakdown , no idea WHY.

I dont like the snare rolls thou.

I hate blue ball EDM.

On a more serious, how exactly did you get that bassline after the break, quite an interesting sound. In that section id take out everything but the kick and that bass and slowly bring elements back in every 8 bars or so.

No idea why people write that way though , look at First State's remix of Ten Seconds Before Sunrise.

That sounds okay to me. Patternson's "Thump" transitions from this uplifting melody to something that sounds dissonant.

I don't know why people are buying Patterson's "Thump." Do people actually know it goes down the gutter, or are they just listening to a few seconds of it? The sample on beatport is kind of misleading because you never hear the track go from build up to outro. I assumed it would go to a traditional main section until I heard it on youtube. I'm glad I didn't buy it.

Has trance gotten so full of itself that a main section is no longer needed? Intro -> Breakdown -> Outro

I hope I'm not old fashioned now...:tongue3

I don't have much experience of that because I live in the USA. I did not get to experience trance looking at itself in the mirror and jizzing over everyone.

Over here there is no trance, there is just "techno" and the place most people hear "techno" is at a sporting event.

sounds alright to me, I like the electro bass part, cool sound, but there are small breaks among that (every 8 bars or whatever) that lead to no change in the arrangement, so its gets repetitive really quick. Also, it seem you have to wait so long to hear it, and then its gone again, like many other parts, its almost a megamix of ideas.

Not bad effort tho, atleast you got it finished, that more than I can claim at the moment:tongue3
