I have many compressors, and I like alot of them alot, most have their own character. When I really got to grips with compression, I have often felt it was easier for me to get the results I was after with Live's own compressor. There are many that could sound better for different materials but, it has been the quickest for me to get results. Also its a matter of preference too.;) |

His mxidown tutorial is good too.
And he recommends -6dbfs peaks.
So again, countless engineers recommend -3dbfs -6dbfs or more headroom for DAW summmed mixes.

| I didn't learn anything new but I would have certainly appreciated to have read it when I first started producing. |
