I was just on YouTube looking at the trailors and am a big fan of both.
Which do you prefer?

Actually neither. 'Batman Begins' all the way for me :)
Mr.Mystery
Two completely different movies cannot be compared.

I personally like the first Batman more. I don't know if its nostalgia or something. Maybe it is nostalgia because i saw this film in the cinema when i was just 9 years old with my parents! Despite the fact that i was a bit scared (lol), the whole Tim Burton's "Goth-aesthetique" worked awesome for batman. IMO, Batman never again had that distinctive "gothic-noir" atmosphere that Burton gave it. And for some reason thar Burtonian atmosphere gave the Batman the character/identity that makes it distinct from any average super-hero movie. Nolan's work is also amazing, it is just not that atmospheric. It is surely very good though. And yes i'll have to agree with the previous poster that Batman Begins was better than Dark Knight. But those first two Batman movies (especially the first one) are the best and classic ones IMO.

I second that... Jack Nicholson was really good too... Heath was of course amazing too. they did the joker in their own ways.

Neither. It's all about the 1960s Batman. ing hilarious, and I could probably write an over-analytical essay about its prescient postmodern tendencies.
Never liked the Tim Burton Batman movie very much, even as a kid. I saw Batman Returns on TV last Christmas and it really was awful. Christopher Nolan's films are much better.

Were the 60s batmans those very hippie, austin-powers-like films which in every action scene a scene came saying "SBANG!", "SBONTOG!" after any batman's/robin's hit? That was deadly funny and disturbing for some reason lol!!!
Unless i talk about the batman series. I'm not sure if we talk about the same thing.

The 1960s film was a spin-off of the series. It was bigger and even more comedy based. When I was a kid I used to think it was terrible. When I grew up and watched it again I realised it was supposed to be terrible.
