Shocking to see how old it is. The atmospheric effects are really what hooked me.

Puremagnetik has sampled it here. if you're interested:

I really like the sound of NI's pro 53, but can't stand the interface... I wish they'd expand Massive to have some more VA sounding oscillators, since most of the massive ones are very metallic/electroish sounding. So I wish someone would come up with some good analogue modelling and put it in a massive like interface...

How cool would it be to be able to have a stack of 30 different modelled oscillators and be able to mix and match them with different modelled filters:eyes: Arturia's done it in hardware, now lets see it in software.

<3 Roland D-50, uncle had one, I think its the first synth I messed with as a kid. Remember it having some nice sounds.

z3ta+ -- Even years after it came out, software has yet to truly emulate its analog tone.

i just want some of the earlier DSP products to get relesaed via software. I mean i own a DP4 and JD990 and i know they're just running C++ chips in there, why the f can't someone just take the code and put it into a software environment? make my life a whole lot easier.

... uhm... WHAT?!

The D50 stands for everything DIGITAL in this world! It's pretty ing far from being analog... so is the JP8000.

I hope this is a troll post or else we have done the impossible: forgot the analog vs. digital debate for so long that we need to continue it just to remind people of the difference :)

Used to be the ARP 2600 but now there's an emulator for that.

I think the only one left is the Oberheim 4 (OB-4).
