a while since i've been abroad but i've been watching the fliers.
i guess to be fair sometimes it's only one or the other but would be nice to see kristina sky, fei fei, or joey medina or any of the other many, many, LA DJs. I don't know if any of them have exclusive contracts so they can't play or something. it's good that circus is giving some other people a shot at mainstage (davejin, robert holland, etc) but I'd like to see a secondary headliner every now and then. when nikita was at circus they always had multiple headliners. take the money from the raffle and throw it at some other good DJs
sorry, i don't want to offend anyone (I know circus is very sensitive) but I don't think hendo or kosho are really secondary headliners. :/
and I also don't think I'm the only one who feels this way. I don't like seeing the same names over and over |

To give them some credit, the DJ before George Acosta came on was throwing down some incredible tracks last Saturday! Not sure if it was Hendo or Kosho, but was one of the regulars...for a minute I thought Digweed was up there...lol
I agree would be nice to mix up the talent some though, so the crowd doesn't just come in for the raffle and then leave right after the headliner...
Oh, and the $1,000 raffle is still on, at least it says so in the latest email that I got from Circus! Good luck to everyone! :D |

Hendo has been playing some pretty good sets lately and last Saturday's set was indeed awesome! I always enjoy what he plays. He can play every week and I wouldn't mind! :D
BTW, mainroom last Saturday was packed and there's been a very good crowd lately... lots of regulars but also with different people showing up each week. |

I know it costs money and have never ever seen this done at a club before, but a surprise raffle would be great every once in awhile. Then people would mainly be there for the music and would get a nice surprise!
But, I would just call out a number from strip tickets so as not to slow the guest list line down with name, email, etc. I get at least 7 emails a week from Circus promoters. Not that I really mind, but soon I'll have to add a new Circus email account! ;)
