Why do they always ask you to subscribe to channels on Youtube? What's "the catch"?

Just wondering, but on Youtube, alot of channels always ask you to subscribe to there channel. Why is that? I don't really see a benifit in subscribing to channels. Do you they perhaps make money or something based on the amount of subscribed people?
Anybody knows? Just wondering why they alway keep pushing to subsribe to there channel.. I mean subscribing is free so why do they want you to subscribe? |
