i have a horror story from this morning. and im still in texas. i booked my room at the clinton hotel in oct. so i decided to call today just to confirm that they still had my reservation and how much my deposit would be. the lady on the phone tells me my reservation is cancelled???? wtf?!? she said that they tried to pull the deposit from my card 3 weeks ago and it declined, so they cancelled the reservation. she said the manager tried to call me, but i never got any message from them. so all their rooms are booked and me and my friends have nowhere to stay (remember, this happened this morning). i was sooooo pissed.
i called my buddy brian who runs a travel agency (the world agency - shameless plug) and he got me a room for the same price at the chesterfield. i guess it all worked out in the end, but i felt sick to my stomach when she told me i didnt have a room LOL |

| yeah I lost my room today and got it back within two hours. Renting an apartment from my ex's best friend (did it last year too) and someone offered her more money so she told me it was gone today. I had to call and give the sob story that I had nowhere else to go and now i'm stuck paying more money. Oh well, at least I have a place on the beach. |

just left my camera in the back seat of a cab. my carelessness :(
called every cab number i saw on passing taxi's, but no one says they heard of anything. told me to call tomorrow morning to see if it ends up in the lost and found, but the chances of that are smaller than winning the lotto imo. |
