Almost finished this track, just working on the break.
You guys think the sweep and synth that comes in during the big sub bass and continues after it is too cheesy? |

the whole song is a little "sappy" for lack of a better word so although the synth is to use your word "cheesy" , it is still consistent with the overall character of the song. So yes it is cheesy but it still works. |

I like it, it fits fine, also, I really like your clap or finger snap. Sounds nice, finish it please, and let us hear.:p |

man, this is the second time I'm blown away by your productions!! Great Work!!!
The only thing I have a tiny issue with is the actual patch on the main melody - it had that de-tuned slightly toyish sound which IMO takes away from the feel of the track. The reverb on it and the separation of space in sample is just out-ing-standing. I would love to hear a dirty jacking bassline added.
This is the sort of stuff that Jaytech, Proff, dinka (etc.) put out and I can't get enough. Wicked. |

Thanks, guys! I'll take your comments into consideration. ;)
DJ RANN, my friend G-tek is working on a remix of this at the moment. It has a lot more energetic bassline and feel. Sort of in the style of Ben Brown or Paul Keeley's more driving tracks.
Both the original and remix should be done relatively soon, so I'll be sure to put up previews for you guys when it's done! |

Hey, I'm not at home right now so I can't pull up exact details. If I remember correctly, the clap is 2 claps layered together. One is a sort of loose finger snap and the other is a sharper digital clap with a wide tail. They're all samples, so I can't claim any credit for the sounds except for the fx I added. |

Are they from a sample library? I am looking for nice claps like that. |

They're from Vengeance Essential House vol 1 :)
I also used some reverb on the hats, which I suppose makes the claps relatively snappier. |
