I love the way British representatives get to directly call out their Prime Minister during events like this. I can't imagine congressmen in America ever confronting and insulting the president this way directly.. Our president lives in a protected bubble. Their leader needs to face the people's representatives every week for questions on live TV. Bravo Europeans.

There's something about getting insulted in a proper British accent that makes the pwnage that much worse. ;)

I love it when you watch British Congressional hearings, anytime they agree they stand up and shout HEAR HEAR and pound their fist on the table or something obnoxious and loud.

rabble rabble rabble! Their exchanges are so much more entertaining to watch than ours. All we get are a bunch of Code Pink protesters getting brow beaten off camera by Barney Frank. Well, sometimes there are some entertaining exchanges, but the seem to be one-sided.

that was awesome. I hope The One got a chance to watch that because the same principles could apply to him.

haha, I was gonna start a thread about how sick British parliament is in comparision with the US. and when george galloway gets the floor oh man get the popcorn.

these MEPs are different than MP's, this is not the regular house. They serve a role and in the Europeanunion budget, electing the president, and setting up international agreements on behalf of the EU. They have their own parties and .

The guy was a little bit ed criticizing the public sector jobs so badly when he is in a 785 member parliament that is much larger than it needs to be imo.Cut that down to 300, and lets see if he's still bitching when he has to hustle to get a nomination from his party for the election.

Yes, countries with parliamentary systems similar to that of Britain are awesome.

The actual meetings in the House of Commons meetings are full of awesome, yet I call into question the amount of productivity that comes out of most of these meetings.

The Republican Party sure doesn't have the moral authority to say anything similar.

It's crazy that there is such hatred for the guy already. Oh well I think I'll give the guy a bit more time before I write him off as the biggest ever criminal and degenerate in American history, because boy oh boy does the right want to label him as such.

people dislike him for a couple of reasons, mostly because he was in charge of finances for the last 10 years and now the economy has gone up it hasn't gone down well. Also he's not considered by many to be a great face for the country, he's quietish, shy, reserved and people don't get a feel-good factor from him. Personally I don't know what the point is because there isn't a single politician who I'd trust to be PM right now.
