Yes I know there are plenty.
I am looking to spend next to nothing for a functional water pipe and some shisha.
Any suggestions? |

dude there is a Moroccan furniture/decoration store on Sherbrooke West right next to Amir...one or two blocks eat of Cavendish. They sell the shisha (herbal, non-tobacco) for like 4 bucks a box, which is cheap. For the water pipe, your best bet is Akhavan which is afew more blocks east (corner Grand Boulevard).
Hope that helps! |

| For next to nothing; go to the place with 1000000 hookahs in it... on Mt-Royal, next to Salon Daomé. Bring cash ;) |

| There is the place called AL Dar on Mackay between St Catherine and Rene Levesque, they have the best shishas downtown. |

Well I'm not talking an absolute piece of , I should have been more clear.
I don't want the think to catch fire obviously, just not looking to make a major investment is all. |

cote des neiges in front of the couche tard across the metro, you really cant miss it.
2nd floor, they got middle eastern fast food, ice cream, pastries u name it, even VIP sections and a best-kept-secret terrasse for the summer time.
You get a classic shisha, one serving of tobacco and as much coal as you can smoke. 6$
as long as you're not some white trash racist redneck, i guarantee the spot is a killer |

I concur with that statement for the sheesha at Akhavan. I bought the herbal tobacco on St-Catherine/Guy, at a small depaneur called marche Sadek. they cost like 20$ for the huge box of tobaco. |

I think he wants to buy the pipe and smoke it at home. i'm not too sure if we understood his question correctly. |

In which case I will further emphasize my suggestion: Mt-Royal, a little east of St-Laurent (~next to Salon Daomé) :)
Good quality, stainless steel, very inexpensive. He'll probably throw in a box or two of shisha.
Buying the tobacco stuff here in Quebec is a rip off; it gets taxed like cigarettes... send me a PM if you know a Lebanese guy with a trunk full of premium white grape :p |
