although ill admit last year the ric y martin live PA was really weird, quite boring and made my friends leave...however i liked his dj sets (opening was ing amazing + closing was nice too), and i cant see a 7 hour dj set vs. Zip being boring...their record collections are packed full of rare gems you'll never get to hear anywhere else but it also depends what you're into ... |

Zip is the label head of Perlon, one of the sexiest labels around that was not ruined by mp3 kids.
I was told his was the highlight of last years DEMF festival.

Although I have to admit his set at Nuit Electronik wasn't the most ''exciting'' for such venue/event, I still remember the epic set with Ritchie at piknic in 2006. This set is available by the way, you should get it if you don't have it!
The last day of Mutek at Piknic IS a truly fun geek sketchfest where even the artists get totally wasted which oftens makes their sets really special. I'm pretty sure we will hear that latin side of Ric, makes amazing sets, it will be awesome if it's nice outside.
So yeah, 7-hour set Ric vs ZIP, Mutek fest closing party under the sun at Piknic: hmmm can we say this a major WIN. 100% attending. |

been looking forward to attending this year's mutek fest, but i'm not sure whether $ will be available...
...will they have day passes available? i've wanted to see villalobos for years, so i'm wondering if it'll be possible to buy a day pass / ticket for his set. yay/nay? |
