so im thinking of buying a book on tantric sex, and a few 'moody' CD's for me and my partner.
i figured we'd try this out... im a sexually open minded guy, im up for anything, and tantra is apparently an amazing experience if you can get in to it.
has anyone here tried it, or is into it?.. if so, where can i buy books on it?.. or other related paraphinalia? |

Surprisingly, it can be a lot of work... especially for the male. You have to have self-control and patience for a lot of the positions and techniques.
If you're looking for some wild f*cking where you go nuts with weird positions, I would just suggest googling positions rather than spending any money on a book. If you're actually willing to learn the methods and techniques, then Tantra can be good. It's very... focus based (that's the best way I can describe it). If you don't have the patience for Yoga, then Tantra likely wont suit your fancy.
I had downloaded a free E-book on it years ago... I don't have it anymore, but it gave a lot of insight on the practice, so maybe you can look for it and get an idea before you spend money. |

Read some of the Chinese Taoist stuff.. someone in the know once suggested Mantak Chia as a good author.. there's a real torrent of information out there if you look around. |

ill check that out.. basically im wanting for us to try this out, but i dont just want to buy any old ty book called, 'the A-Z of tanta' i want to try to take this seriously.

I Haven't got a vast amount of experience with this, but I have tried it, and I totally agree with Theresa.
It's a very passionate experience in my opinion.

i just continue straight after an orgasm with no break, makes for long enough experiences as is.
did tantric sex a few times, decided i prefer the former. too much effort and the lack of contrast, etc.
p.s. as for music - why seek out some 'spiritual' music? just listen to stuff you both enjoy. |
