c0r version: apparently a virus/worm called conficker c will be activated on april 1st and it can wipe your hard drive clean, thus rendering your pc useless...a bull scheme so people will dish out money for anti virus programs??? early april fools joke?

MS released a patch for this back in October of '08. MS 08-067, see here: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/se...n/MS08-067.mspx
Get your patched, folks. If you're missing patches from October of '08, I'd suggest your patch cycle is lagging or you're running some really, really touchy legacy software. |
