| I sometimes add compression to sampled kicks whether theyve been compressed or not, just enough to give it some punch and bite, like Anthony says, your ears are the best guideline here |

| Everytime I apply compression on those Vengeance trance/clubby kicks , it gets really distorted sounding. The samples are already compressed , so i dont think there is a need to do it again. |
