Muchas gracias for the info.
I have been addicted to the essential mix from mau5. Check it out if you haven't. Its def mood setting music, but it doesn't make me freak out like trance does. :eyespop: I will be spendin the cash on Markus... Anyone getting there for RJ Pickens? Can't wait.
And I am def using my porn name ya know your first pet's name followed by the street you grew up on? Thus gives the porno name. A damn good one too. |

You are missing out with the essential mix. It's not one of his better sets if you ask me.
You haven't heard him live until you've seen him do on the go remixes of his tracks. He does a slow down version of Slip live if I recall. His live shows will make you freak out in other words.... |

| So if deadmau5 ends around 3 like Infected Mushroom did, then I should catch at least an hour of Markus afterwards. That's assuming Markus doesn't sell out and I'm not too partied out. |

Last time I seen Markus at Vision someone spilled on the mixer and the show ended earlier around 4:30 A.M
But I would think...Markus would play a 2:00-5 A.M set or 1:30 to 5 A.M.
Markus is tons of fun, but Deadmau5 still throws done I enjoy.
But like the everyone is saying, its a choice of what mood you are in. |

actually thats pretty much the time when all the DJs play their encore,Vision has never been open till 5am...maybe 4.45am the very latest i can remember... |

i asked myself the same question about 2 months ago when i found out they both played on my b-day. i've seen deadmau5 at DEMF, HoB (House of Blues) and then BOMA (Bar of Modern Art). all 3 sets were the very similar. i really enjoy his music. still stuck on both of his essential mixes. i've never seen markus live. listen to the gdjb every week and then dl it to add to playlist at work.
my friends suggested goin to markus since we agreed deadmau5's sets were the same (close to it) and he plays his own songs. the dj's i've seen in the past rarely play all of their own songs live. just annoyed me. i'm headin to markus for my b-day party w/ 4-7 friends. prob see some of you there too. say hi, wish me a happy b-day if you like. have a good time in whatever you choose. Vision is open really late where the other clubs i've Deadmau5 at closed at 3ish (BOMA was 2:30 am and the lights went on) so Vision is the longer party. |
