Wow, this mix is hellllla TRANCEY for Kaskade....like a lot of nice prog house/trance. I am really digging it!

Kaskade has definitely changed his style. A lot the die hard house/deep house heads have lost respect for him.
personally, i think its kinda of cool (emphasis) ... for right now. |

| His productons had been of a different style as of late too! Def more trancey and some HARD electro sounds. Not the "Is it you, Is it me and Steppin Out" style I was always used too. Oh well a true dj and producer can adapt and be able to hit ALL genres! |

| any of you guys checking him out this week? The show at slide would have been cool to go to(plus tickets were only $10) Im in san diego this weekend, but i think im gonna pass unless spin offers a guestlist for reduced cover($25!) |

I love the sound of the new mix CD. If Kaskade spins like the CD the floor should be moving imo!
As for some questions regarding the night in San Diego:
1) I haven't heard that they show is costing any more than normal. If you get listed and get in early its usually free for the 1st 100 or $10 b4 10. Afterward it bumps to $15 to 11, which is when the list usually closes and GA prices are normal. As far as I've been promoting the night, that is the norm and I've not been told otherwise. I promote for Spin and not Giant or Eventvibe, so I can't say if they changed something for this show specifically.
2) The club isn't too far from the trolley station in Old Town. It's definitely a walk (one I'd recommend in a group) or a bike ride as well (though I don't know where you could stash the bike... lol). Google Maps estimates that the walking time is 24 mins, but the distance is only 1.5 miles roughly.
A better option way be to use the Washington St station if you are riding the trolley in. That station is only a half mile (estimate 10 min walk) away from the venue but it does take you past the venue.
The map below shows what I'm talking about I hope. lol Never tried this before. Also, be advised that the trolley doesn't run when the club closes Saturday morning. It resumes operation around 5-6am.

I just got this in a message from one of the talents spinning on Friday, so apparently Eventvibe switched up the normal stuff for this night:
To Get in on Friday you have a few different options...
==There is a Guestlist at the door which takes $10 off the Cover, the problem with this is that it will only be available for the first 300 people who arrive at the door that are on the list.
==There is also $5 Discount coupons that will make cover either $20 or $25 depending on what time you get there.
==Lastly, there are $20 PRE-SALE TICKETS that are the best bet in my opinion, as you have your ticket to walk in & it's already the best price for KASKADE. |

not the best price for kaskade as the clubbers of san francisco can see him at a super intimate venue(think 200 people) for $10
