I'm trying to create a gated chorus similar to the kind you see in a lot of Tiesto tracks ie the end of Tiesto - Break my fall or his remix of Imogen Heap - Hide and Seek (Tiesto ISOS mix).
I know a few different ways using effects and such to make it gate, but I just can't make the chorus sound even remotely close. Any kind of chorus I make up or find in presets just sound fake and cheesy. Is there a trick to making this sound, and/or are there any vst synths that might make creating this sound easier? |
