I feel bad for all of you who couldn't make it out to the sheer epicness (my new word of the week) that was WMC. I'll have a link to pics sometime this afternoon. For all you techno heads talking up Marco Carola, you were spot on! Oh, and check out Ida Engberg if you have a chance. She tore the roof off SSFD Sunday morning. One of my top 5 sets of the conference.

My favorite parties were the SANDER K Boat Party & the PVD @ Space Party.
My worse party has to be Super You & Me. A-Track & Diplo killed my vibe by playing hip hop. WTF? This party had no vibe. But Luke redeemed himself the next day at the Beatport Pool Party.
My biggest regret has to be not going to M-Nus. :( I regret that big time.
It was awesome seeing so many LA TA's everywhere. You know who you are.
I went to most parties alone, but I saw so many familiar faces & I met new ones that I didn't matter if I went alone. Heck, I even parties with my friends from Mexico at the Sander K Party. That was a big shocker. I did not expect to see them at WMC at all.
Pizza Rustica & Puerto Sagua were kinda weak for me this year. I didn't enjoy them as much. Actually, my pizza was pretty nasty tasting. The best food I had this year had to be at BONGO's. That's Gloria Stefan's restaurant. FOOD & DRINKS ARE BOMB!!! And it's pretty cheap too.
Can't wait til next year. In the mean time, here's some videos I took.

I went to all different parties, except for i saw woody was going to DIggers..
I personally never held him in high regard... thought he changes the song too much, sasha is better, and just hes too much bass...
Anyways until like 4 he was wack... then 4:20 ish he played underworld dark long train... let the whole song play... epic... and he finished the last hour with like all old oakie essential mix tracks from 99 tours (goa, paris, London etc...)
Highlight was Id'ing Ian Brown Fear...
I went to Nick warren dave seamen message of hope friday on shine... cool tunes, i was blcack out, but the vibe at the club kinda sucked...
went to a yacht party audio logic which my friends threw on awesome... saturday, and went to luke fair sundayt night at the disco teca and saw sander at shine sunday night from like 12-2:30 and 5am to 6 am... He was absolutely incredible...
Second to last encore was Wonderwall Oasis.... crazy... everyone yelling it out... anyone hit these shows up??????

I'm totally gutted I didn't go this year and hang out with you all - just had too much going on back in LA (in fact, in was in Florida the whole week before had to fly back on the 23rd!!!!!!). :( :( :(

I'm paying the price now with this soar throat, but WMC round 3 (haven't been since 2005) was a blast. You really can't do everything.
My highlights:
Wednesday: checked out the party at the Sagamore but it was too windy so we bailed. There was a lot house music on Espanola that night, we didn't even have to leave our room lol.
Thursday we went to Anjunabeats @ Karu & Y and it was awesome. The music, lighting, crowd, venue, all top notch (except $15 drinks, but you know how that goes). This is tying for the best party for me, and could easily be called the winner.
Friday we went to Pete's Essential Mix Party. It was a lot of fun, but doesn't really stand out in my mind that much.
Saturday we started at Beatport...was mwehhhh for me. Should have stayed bor Beyer and Corola, but we left to check out the party at South Seas, and that was really fun music, with a drummer playing to the music. Apparently we missed the big names though.
Saturday night, went midnight to 6am with Jerome and Armin...overall a great night, and I though for the most part, they both killed it.
I didn't see any TAs...
I'm laying low til Armin and DJ Shah next week....
