Downloading multi-part files from USENET Newsgroups: HOW?

| When I surf the Newsgroups, I often see posts that have "[01/99]", "[02/99]", and so on... I know those are multi-part files but, How can I get all of the parts? Is there an easier way of getting it all instead of just downloading it all 1-by-1? Plus, most of the time, it's not in any kind of order, which makes things more confusing. Is there any programmes that automatically group the posts up and connect all of the parts so, it can be a smooth download? PLUS, after I get all of the parts, how do I combine them into one file? Can someone either post a good explanation on how it all works for amatuers or re-direct us amatuers to a site that has one? Thanks in advance! |

it depends on what newsgroup reader you are using, i use xnews as it handels these files automacally, and after reading the readme files etc it is quite simple to use. get it from HERE
