Nice beginning.
First set of hats, coming in, sound a little bright.
I like the mellow TB303 sounding lead, coming in. It does a nice job.
the pads that come in give the tune a cool breathing quality. Very pretty build into the break.
Love the mellow lead that comes in on the break. It completely changed what could have been a very cliche' experience even though I think the lead could evolve to something more than it became in thirty-two measures.
Second break nicely done.
The piano is also a nice touch, throughout.
Love the guitar sound.
Snare attack build sounds a little too mechanical. The sound seemed atypical for the track.
All-told, this really, really is a beautiful song. My remarks ought to be considered as ideas I'd put into the track if it were my own, rather than strictly dedicated as a critique against its merits. |
