| So tomorrow i have to get one removed... only one....thing is, I went in the other day to get a tooth ache checked...and it was the wisdom tooth that needed to go....but the dentist didn't even give me an xray...and it cost 100 bucks to get it removed...i went in last week to get two teeth shaved down a bit, and it was the same price...weird....isn't it against the law to not take a proper xray before removing any teeth...theres alot of nerves there, and you can seriously get fcukd up |

It's a little hard to understand your question here.
Is it against the law to take out a wisdom tooth without an x-ray? No, it isn't. For minor impactions, a dentist might not be able to tell without an x-ray, but if it's particularly bad or if it's something else like an infection then it might be obvious enough without one.
It is nevertheless pretty common to take an x-ray; I've had one taken on every regular checkup. I might ask why the wisdom tooth needed to be removed, but it doesn't seem like any big deal, assuming you didn't have any complications. It cured the tooth ache, right? |

The wisdom tooth was likely what was causing the tooth aches. I didn't have to get my wisdom teeth taken out until I was 22 or something. The reason I got them out (all 4) was b/c one or two or them were starting to cause my mouth to hurt a bit. So when they were doing the surgery, they just took all of them out since I was covered. |
