we went to this last year....got there around 11/1115 i think...was surprised at how few people were trying to get in....the club did get relatively full but not slammed like i thought it would be for Roger and Boris. and i seem to remember those that paid to get in only had to pay like 20-30. if you get there early i don't think you'll have much of an issue...though no promises on that!

Alrighy, I've never seen such a cluster in my life as out side XS Saturday night. I've been to alot of clubs but never seen a line like that before. It went all the way down the hall into he casino, and there were about 200 security guards keeping everyone in check. The amount of people trying to get in looked like it was in the thousands.
We got there a little after midnight. I know some of you guys text me who went much earlier and gave up on getting in. We had a couple hook ups, so we still wanted to give it a try. Security guards weren't even letting through people with stamps and table reservations. Best part about was that Steve Wynn was walking around outside the line, back and forth staring off into space like some sort of freak. At one point when we were standing at the edge of the cluster (I mean line) he walked right up to us and was leaning on my friend and I and staring at the wall or ceiling behind us, super focused. I kept turning around to see what he was looking at but there was really nothing there. His face was like a foot from mine and I would look him in the eyes and he would look right through me. Then he walked off again. The dude was seriously tripping on acid... or something. It was creepy as hell. I felt all fear and loathingish.
Anyways after about an hour we ended up getting in with a really really good host and some chick who was friends with Victor Drai.
And it was worth it. That's one of the sickest clubs I've ever been too.
Tried to make it to penthouse but by the time we left it was already 6 and I really needed to sleep of the alcohol a little bit before going to Wet republic.

yeah, XS is a nice ass club. i got there really early (8:30) and left around 11:30. Went back to the room (stayed at Encore) for some pre-partying and then headed over to Rain.

I was with an ex XS employee/host and a retired major league baseball pitcher. We got passed all the bs purple suits (hotel security), but the actually hosts were ignoring everyone!
Major holiday weekends you must go early, get presale (if they offer presale) and put some cash in someone's hand with a handshake.
I went to XS's grand opening open house around Christmas time. It looks just like Tryst but with some gold plated walls when you walk in and some gold plated statutes behind the bars. (minus Tryst's HUGE waterfall)

Don't laugh, I'm actually considering going back labor day weekend. That flight freaking killed me though. I was supposed to go to work on tuesday morn after I few in. That didn't happen. At least when i called out sick I actually sounded like I was on my deathbed...
