someone want to explain to me why i cant make a code myself and how these guys are able to?
actually i know with the blackberries (all of them) you download a program and do that combination sequence it gives you access to a hidden menu to do it based on time of day, forgot what it was called.
im assuming these companies have "friends" that work in providers and leak them the tools / guides on how to provide codes?
idk how this works. |

That's to access the engineering menu. To access the unlock options it varies by model, but its usually accessible by pressing "MEPD2". The unlock code is tied directly to the IMEI. I'd be really interested to know how the whole code generation/accessibility works as well. |
