btw, my advice was rather serious. Sounds like a case of thinking too much.

Honestly, I can't decide (lol) if it's a case of thinking too much, or not enough.

Do I need to bite down and just thoroughly think things out so hard that I want to puke and force myself into making a decision? Or, should I just base my opinions solely on initial emotional response (from "the gut")? I don't know... I can't decide! That's the problem! :)

Also, I don't consider myself to be "unemotional", which is the odd thing about it.

indifference to me is when you say, "meh" or "i don't care"
indecisiveness to me is when you say, "what" or "i don't know"

Well, I didn't really mean to discuss the difference between the two, but rather, the "struggle" with each.

why don't you try both for a couple weeks and see how it goes? then perhaps you'll realize there's a happy medium between spontaneity and extreme organization when it comes to decision-making.

so try the extremes and see how you feel. personally i think when you're too indifferent and too indecisive (as you seem to describe yourself as being) it could become a stagnation of character.

though i'm shocked that you're able to produce and be satisfied with your end result while being indecisive. that's probably my worst trait as a musician.

It doesn't really seem to affect my creative ability, strangely enough. I never even really thought of it that way.
