native speaker here | Ya that sounds correct, if you think someone will confuse it with a bus station or something like that just add the part in bold letters. |

I concur with Ivand and Nachos, although I will add that in common, daily life usage, nobody says "Yo fui", it's pretty much just "Fui". although, both forms are correct, "Yo fui a la estacion de tren" is more formal, while "Fui a la estacion de tren" is more casual ;)
Native speaker here, too :D |

| Ya i would also add "mierda" to the end of the sentence so that the feeling of taking the train is emphasized. |

The word "Estacion" by it self doesn't tell you much unless the other person knows what you are talking about and it also means "seasons" ( summer, fall, winter, autumn )
Estacion could be :
Estacion de bus = Bus station
Estacion de Radio = Radio station
Estacion de tren = Train station
it would absolutely sound better if you say:
Yo fui a la Estacion de Tren .
or a little bit more casual
Me fui a la Estacion de tren.
hope this could help ;) |

| I'm learning Spanish at the moment; it's such a fun language and so easy after doing five years of Japanese. |
