One of the best tracks from the latest album. Haven't heard Sigur Ros, but I'm guessing they're just one out of 3243456 Autechre clones.
Add to your list Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada, Richard Devine and basically anything on Warp Records (except Squarepusher, that guy's just annoying).

Another cool track:

i really enjoy Flying Lotus & The Glitch Mob...dont know how unusual they are but very original

This statement couldn't be further from the truth.

Heh that's really kind of a funny thing to read. Sigur Ros is probably the farthest away from Autechre as you can get.

I love them so much. You can't even talk about this kind of music.

Was it really that difficult to press play on the op's video :wtf:

And from what I gather (in regards to the op wondering what Jonsi is doing at 6:15 into the first video) I *think* he is singing into the guitar's pickup. I guess it's to distort his voice a bit as it comes out over the amp.

Not certain, but it's the only thing that makes sense off hand.

Yep, that's it.

I gotta put on Agaetis Byrjun some day now, i haven't listened to Sigur Ros in ages. :clown:

pretty much everyone on warp is fairly unusual and experimental in some way. i love jamie lidell because when he performs stuff from his first album live he does it all by himself, looping his own vocals over each other
