i'm kind of a closet-feminist sometimes but i also laugh at like this beacuse it's funny.

but really...you men should be a little concerned for your own kind these days with all the ****** ass metrosexual going around and all your passive-agressiveness. you guys are slowly turning into vaginas.

i mean i don't want some caveman dude who expects me to be barefoot and preggers 24-7 but when it comes time to step up to the plate, he'll do it. all men should know how to do the following:

1. drive manual transmission
2. change a tire and do other various car-related repair stuff
3. fix kitchen sinks and other minor house-related things
4. not be afraid to fart in front of friends and girlfriends
5. not really have a sense of fashion (but are willing to look good and take the advice of their gf)
6. know how to man the grill
7. love dogs

that's all i can think of for now

.... what Sylee said. It's Beta-male madness these days. This is just my opinion, but it seems like with the feminist movement and the idea of women wanting to be treated "equally", many of them have overreached on that idea and have become so "sex and the city" career driven, "I don't need a man" types that they've actually forgotten what it means to be a woman. At the same time, men have been pressured to "be sensitive" and blah blah.

When it comes down to it, I think deep down, women still prefer to be with a real man (in the traditional sense of the word) and not some metro douche that gets his cuticles touched up and his shirt tailored. It doesn't mean they're submissive if they understand the different roles of the man vs. the woman.

Women I've met over the years on my travels on the other side of the world have all said the same type of thing about American women... in their desire to be "equal" with men, they've forgotten their role as women in the feminine sense of the word.

#6 is a must.

#7.... does it make me less of a man that I am a cat lover? :nervous:
Slylee
lol cat lovers are fine

no but i totally agree with your other post. even though i have a very feminist/"independent woman" inside of me, i have no problem playing the female role and i love catering to my man because he respects me and supports me and encourages any career-like, money making goal i talk about and that makes me want to please him and do female stuff like in that funny comic strip i commented on before lol

and sometimes when i go to happyhour and i see all these polished metros in their shirt and ties and pointy fashionista dress shoes, i'm like 'ughh' lol it's so ing gay. i mean i'm not passing judgment on all men who have an office-oriented career and need to dress up for work, but i really think it's sexier to see my boyfriend come home in paint stained jeans with his little thingy that holds tape measure on his belt loop and a dirty shirt with boots/sneakers. it's like, "hell yea...my man's been fixing and building all day":stongue:
