Anybody here using this? I can get a decent deal on it this weekend, but I won't have much time to check out the demo (assuming there is one) beforehand so I'd like to know what others who have been using it for a while think of it so far - likes, dislikes, major bugs, etc. FWIW, I'd be using it with Sonar, Cubase, and Project5.

Also, it's my understanding that you arrange your patterns in BPM's sequencer when constructing a song, but I'm wondering if there's a way to drag/drop the pattern clips into my host's MIDI editor (ala Guru, Stylus RMX, etc.).

Yeah, I picked this up. Did not like it a first (I thought it was a bit of a pain to use - switching between screens, etc) but now I'm loving it.

It's nothing new(Guru) that has not been done before but it's great for making your own loops and getting them to groove exactly how you want them.

Be aware that most of the content is hip hop based but you can load ur own samples into it. Actually some of the hip hop samples are not that bad.

I've got a template setup in Logic called Beats with just the BPM loaded onto 8 diff outs. It's great to just experiment with diff ideas. Sometimes I will turn on the SP mode for dirty beats :D

There's no demo of this at the moment I'm afraid.

You can export the pattern as a midi file and when you have finished with the pattern containing audio you just pick it up and drop it into a audio track on your seq.

Hope that's helped a little. If you want to know anymore, please ask ;)

Thanks Agenz! Very helpful info. I ordered it and should have it in a few days.

Your welcome...Enjoy :D

It also comes with a printed manual(which is a good thing) and you will also need a spare usb as it's iLok

I've already got an iLok so I'm set there. Good to hear that it's got a printed manual.

Also, I was going to mention that I'm actually kind of glad to hear that it's got a good library of hip-hop samples because I've been writing a lot of loungey/chill stuff lately and the hip-hop kits usually tend to work well for that style - much better than trance/club kits. ;)
