I too was looking forward to the premiere of the show as well. I dont know mikey; cant form an opinion just yet. At first it seemed like it was all over the place but it ended ok. I'll watch next week and make up my mind then.
It's nice to be familiar with the landmarks and streets though; that part is pretty cool.
I must admit that I have been spoiled by cop shows like The Shield and The Wire. I know, this is network TV so its not really fair to compare. |

I was @ a family party but I managed to watch the beginning and end. I recognized Sunset Blvd.
I like the part where the rookie said, "I didn't pat him down yet" the other officer yelled at him, and then the cholo ended up shooing the officer that yelled @ him for not listening to directions when he was following his training.
The show actually says ...they beep it out.
Nothing is like HBO shows, I've watched every episode of The Wire. Fact is that this one prob won't last more than a season either, but its interesting.
Also saw the part that the 3 cholos said, "where you from" to the African American kid, poor kid said "I don't gang bang" they still executed him. |

There is some dialog in the show about this..
When they are running the car plate that the African American girl calls the Detectives, they say that the one of the guys just got out of jail and that they take anyone out or something to that effect. Essentially kill anyone, I could be mistaken though |
