Maybe they'll concede to adopt something similar to how many outsourced tech-support call centers are manned by Indian people who happen to be named 'Bob' and 'Steve.'

People are interesting.

:stongue: :stongue: I remember getting a call from BT and someone called 'shane' who was very indian. When he introduced himself as such I told him that he wasn't and if he didn't tell me his real name as I was aware of many indian names, I would tell his bosses he lied to me. He soon did. Sacchin. He was a **** too, I never got what he promised.

we talked about this in a politics class years ago... it's just a really old 'ellis-island' mentality that a lot of people have about immigration. my grandparents changed their last name when they moved here and i bet most people on here who's parents moved here between WW1-WW2 did as well. Not saying it's right to ask someone to change their name i'm just saying this has idea of assimilation with names has been around for obviously a really long time.
