LOL amazing description, and amazing track!! :D ahhhhhhh such a good night!!!!

The Good
-Fun with TAs
-Preach's technical skills. Max Graham is about the only other DJ who's good at knob fiddling as Preach. Though if you're a techno DJ, you should be pretty darn technically proficient
-Preach set being more fun once I got over that he's not going to play techno

The Bad
-hardly any hard techno tunes

The Ugly
-everytime Preach plays a bad vocal trance, techno gods kill a kitten
-sing a long to As the Rush Comes

I thought Preach played a similar style as Schulz, if a bit harder. Lots of fun tracks. But for the love of god, I am going to kill myself if I hear Durand abomination of Madagascar one more time.

Dunno what to make of it one of the highlight of the set was Riff... What is this, 2007?

Vola was pretty fun times for me, as usual.

So random running into Jay just as I was leaving lol.

And Nat makes people realize why making each hug counts is good. <3 Nat

PS: Mark Oliver rocks for dropping Marc DePulse - PS You Rock (Spektre remix). Techhouse tuuuuuuune!
Yohan
oh yeah. Jenn not showing up for Preach

4. Special Fail
-Serious effects on activities and systems
-Will cause the story of the failure to be told and re-told for many months

Thanks everyone for coming out. I had a blast and it was great to play a few tunes for you guys. I think the night went well. Preach was solid ;) Great night. Ill post my set in full shortly. I have Preach's set recorded too, but will need permission ofcouse before it can be released.

Thanks again for everyone that came out. Was great to see the place over half full with TA's and Friends.

First time checking out Preach. Expectations weren't too high, and he played a solid set for me. Exactly what I needed. Hearing some older cheesier tracks were great too, because unlike everybody else, I rarely attend trance events so I don't get to hear them live as often. :) Some pretty great tech trance tracks were dropped. I'm not a Deadmau5 fan, but I love Deadmau5 - Clockwork (Cosmic Gate Remix). Great hearing it live again. Barry's opener was pleasing to hear.. Oliver dropped some nice old school Detroit sounding tunes, but unfortunately the vibe was dead by then.

All in all a fun night! Lots of shenanigans!

Thanks Yohan. <3

Had a great time out, really enjoyed Barry's set, as well as Preach (though I was surprised it was not a techno set). But no matter, I love my trance. Had to leave 30 mins into Mark's set as I had to be up early. Special thanks to Del for coming to see me there- nice surprise. Nice to meet some new faces, and see old ones.

And how is it that I can be gone over 1.5/2 yrs, and meet a TA who tells me that I am the first TA he's ever met???

Love you all.

LOL that's hilarious

I remember the TA meetups at so many different events years ago. I never see anyone set them up anymore though really. It just isn't like it used to be I guess :(
I met a few TAs at Preach that I've never met before, but other than that I haven't really met anyone in over a year. I mean, I don't go out even close to as often as I used to, and I don't post as often as I used to, but we still need TA meetups! lol
