GIANT brings another dynamic duo to the ever clever Red Night Club in Newport Beach, CA this Thursday, April 16th when they bring Deep Dish house guru Ali “Dubfire” Shriazinia in for an evening of velvet grooves, intimate moods, and banging good times. Not only that but Italian electro master Davide Squillace will also be performing, and when paired together in one magical five hour window, the results are sure to sparkle like the brightest bling.
Everyone knows Shriazinia’s Grammy Award-winning work in the DJ/production duo Deep Dish, but the last half decade has seen Dubfire’s solo work grow in leaps and bounds, digging deep into the same vein of unique, energetic, and soulful turntable wizardy that characterized his former project. Live, he’s even more of a force, wowing and wooing the crowd in equal measures. And in the classy environs of Red, he’ll effortlessly rise to the occasion.
Squillace might be slightly less widely known of a name, but that might not be the case for long. Since falling in love with dance music in the mid-90s he quickly pursued an eclectic path of influences, soaking in a strange range of music, ranging from house to jazz to hip-hop, soul, and beyond. His techno innovations have won him fervent fan bases all throughout Europe, and sets like the one he’s primed to rock at Red will surely spread the gospel.
