I'd have to go with the Superwave p8 - I don't think it is a great emulator of the jp8000, but its pretty good and i just love the sounds that can be made from it. I do wish I had a jp8000 (8080 actually) but the p8 has kept me in check from buying one.

It is free too. I've linked the download below for anybody looking for a jp8000 emulator.

I really used to fancy the Pro53 by Native Instruments. Also like the Synth1 freeware synth a lot - quality.

I love it! Rebirth has a sound of its own!
If you want dirt rewire it to Reason or your DAW and add some fx!:D
