i know right? i read through the thread after i posted and was like damn. why is everyone all bent out of shape? lol sometimes people just want to hear "hey it's gonna be ok, don't worry" u know? we're human.

Honestly...I never tell people like "Don't worry, it'll be ok." Because you can't guarantee that, and it's patronizing as hell. Giving false hope is a huge nono in nursing, and though I realize I'm not at work right now...I just can't bring myself to say stuff like that to a person.
Yeah it sucks, sorry to hear. I get that the guy needs to vent..but can't expect a whole lot around here. |

i know but dude his little bro is in a coma and he's just bummed and reaching out for some attention or words of encouragement. does that really make him a ty/pathetic person?
i'd probably make a thread if my mom was in a coma, but damn if you guys are gonna react like that, then u guys...that would hurt my feelings.
whatever ur just a big cun t jenny. but i still love u. |

| No no, I get that...and I don't think he's pathetic at all. I just personally don't know how to react sincerely to his plight. Not gonna lie, I really don't care, lol. |

If they don't like the fact that he did do this then y post a reply in any form?
I don't get it. I know this the COR & all but some compassion or sympathy wouldn't hurt. Sometime I see that some need attention or need to be drama queens at the cost of a fellow TA posting a thread "NOT" up to their standards.

^^^exactly.
why post all?
indifference is one thing, but it was disturbing to read all the posts that ridiculed this poor guy for his family's misfortune. |
