*ahem* FREE ADMISSION & PARKING before 11:00pm

Don't understand why there's always some complaining.

BTW... did you have fun?

I think I saw you coming into the club cursing, "$50!!! %$$^$&*^%$#@$" Sorry about that brother. I've had to pay for parking before too. what can you do? next time just try to leave the house earlier. you live, you learn.

Good times, Malia :D

Any reviews on the duo set?? Did they play a good set. Was the venue packed?

I planned on going to this a month ago and then was side swiped with an OT day on the job. Though I miss out, I making some good cash right now!

Crossing fingers for EDC!

Malia, you've been framed! :haha:

What a great night, music was off the hook! Was kinda surprised they didn't come on until 1 a.m. though, an hour earlier would have got the place rockin earlier, but I know it's not always under the DJs' control. Very friendly DJ's though, had a nice chat with them before their set and hope they enjoy their visit to California! :)

More pics up soon...

The $3 presale ticket worked perfect for me since I planned on getting here around 1am. Duderstadt were on the stage when I got there. Can't say I was impressed with their set (the part that I was there); I heard many strange "synthesizer" versions of known songs. As for the crowd not packed, not empty either, some "high energy" individuals at the back and another 10-15 in front of the DJ; everyone else kind of participating. Second room empty but music was good. Birthday party in the back with tracks from 20-30 years ago.

Thanks Mel! :D

It really wasn't that busy in there.... a few spurts here and there. Jaime played from 2am-4am and was spinning some great tunes as well.

That's been my big issue with Circus the last several times I've gone. Always like 10-15 people right up front that are pretty into it, and the rest of the crowd is like 80% zombified and feels like I'm in a cemetary or something.

I know I haven't been to Circus nearly as many as most of you the past few years, but the times I have gone it's been pretty much the same experience. Even when there's been insane music, the zombified crowd aka zero vibe just brings the whole night down.

That said, prob won't stop me/us from going whenever we can and there's nothing better. cause it's better than staying at home, hehe.

Basically ever club I've encountered (between LA and SF) that has cutoff times like that are always real strict about it. Not just Circus. I've shown up a minute or two after a cutoff time and had to deal with paying. Learned to get there in plenty of time (in case there's traffic) or just no deal with it at all!
