go to the producers thread title page, and look through this

" Please Read: The Tutorial "Master List" ( 1 2 )"
that is all.

Just because you have a laptop, doesn't make you a DJ.

Dj'd most of my life since I was like 10, started with my dad doin the generic kind, like weddings and parties, it was fun, but, I got older, went to my first rave, Spacegirl was playing, it was that moment I decided I was gonna produce trance. I spun everything, trance, house, hardcore, hip hop, reggae, and got paid at local bars everywhere around me, then I got me enough equipment to start producing and have not dj'd even for fun since then. I am on a mission to produce an album or hopefully many albums. Who knows what life brings next, hopefully people listenin to my tunes:D

I'm shy also but, when I dj, it opens me up to the people, thats what I did always love about it. Now I don't dj and I am a hermit sitting here producing all the time.

yes I am, since 1999, always at "do it yourself" parties and little clubs. my best night was doing the warm up for a very important local dj.

now I am mostly a producer than a dj because of time and "competition", today here in Buenos Aires averybody could dj, they play some crappy minimal sound and the clubs prefer that sound :@

LOL I feel the same way. I haven't gigged in about a year though I do have offers that I turn down, and yeah now I'm pretty much a hermit. Always here behind the computer reading about music or working on my own music.

Good Luck. Hope ot comes off for you:gsmile:

I’ve owned 1210s and a mixer but I have never been a Dj. I’m just an avid collector of trance vinyl and I needed a way to play them.

That said I’m not really a producer either. I just like to compose awesome melodies and record them. The actual putting it all together does not interest me at all.
