Seriously disappointed with Cadbury this Easter

Anybody else have trouble finding Cadbury's Creme Eggs in the months leading up to Easter? The usual suspects had surprisingly low inventory from February (post-Valentine's) through this past weekend. Generally the major grocery stores, off-price retailers (Target, Wal-Mart, etc) and drug stores (Rite-Aid, CVS, Walgreens) had tons of the Creme Eggs in stock and would sell them at big discounts come Easter and the days afterward. Well, I can't find them anywhere! WTF? I scored a few of them yesterday at a CVS, but they were still $0.75 apiece, which is hardly a bargain.
Since we can't get these delectable treats here in the US anytime except for the Easter run-up, I must say that I'm thoroughly disappointed.

On Sunday I chucked a peep at my best friend and it got stuck to his face.
I agree, never been a fan. Cadbury eggs were at Nob Hill down the way from my house tho at the register. |

Peeps are gross, but they are awesome to watch in a microwave! |

| I loooove Cadbury eggs. There's a really good 99-cent store by my work in Pasadena and they've had Cadbury eggs for at least a month (2 or 3 for 99c). I had so many of the orange chocolate eggs before easter that I didn't eat any last weekend :p |

Cream eggs rock. Not big on peeps either, but try roasting them. The sugar on the outside caramelizes and the inside stays nice and soft. Learned that one in my stoner days :tongue2
And Brian, you might have to make a trip, but Saugus Drugs usually has a bunch of leftover treats for real cheap. You should have Shaka check for you. |

| They started making the Cadbury eggs smaller too. They have Nestle Crunch ones that are really good as well. |

| I saw a women in CVS a few days ago looking for some Cadbury eggs (which the CVS had none of) and she was complaining how she couldn't find any anywhere. |

| I smell conspiracy! I'm gonna hunt down the Hersey's execs to ask about this. Hershey's has the naming (and production?) rights to Cadbury's in the US. |

| I think all this year's Cadbury eggs where accidentally shipped to the 99-cent store I mentioned earlier because their shelves are full of them, or at least were before the weekend! |

| I, too, was unable to find the yummy jizz-filled testicles this year. I could only find orange flavoured at the local 7-11. Granted, this was the only place I looked, and on Zombie-Jesus-Lie morning. I did buy an arm-load of peeps to huck at people and to float in our Zombie-Jesus-Lie morning beers while we watched Flight of the Living Dead. An appropriate title to watch in honor of the worst Zombie story ever told, Jesus. |
