No ! Damn! What a freakin disappointment. Especially sucks since this is most likely the last year for Blake, Roenick, and Lemieux.
Actually, wouldn't say the Ducks are destroying them. The sharks really out played them except in game 4.
There's always a chance for a miracle comeback but doesn't look good. |

The Sharks did play well in the first three games, however I think too much is being made about the 'out played them' statements I keep hearing. Especially with shots on goal. Obviously some of that disparity in shots is due to the fact that San Jose was trailing each of the first two games and the Ducks for years have resorted to a more defensive mindset when ahead. Not all the chances were very good either, and the Ducks have really capitalized on their opportunities.
Honestly, the power play has been a big factor thus far for both teams. However - as a long time hockey fan, don't think I don't know that a few posts here and there may have changed things. San Jose has had tremendous pressure at times, Hiller has just made big stops and the defense has done a pretty good job protecting the few rebounds he does leave.
It's not over until someone wins four games, but the Sharks can't help but to start addressing all the playoff doubters yet again. It's kind of an unfair draw as a #8 seed really. 10-2-1 down the stretch, and with a fully healthy defense and emerging superstar mixing in with Getzlaf, Perry, Selanne, and the core of the team remaining from the cup run of only two years ago. |

| just got back from the game and the san jose bars. Man that game was scary. Sharks destroyed the first 2 periods then slumped like they always do. The slightest pressure and the D suck - thorntons line the worst since he, and patty and seto dont help. its like 5 on 2 during that line. |
