Basically, you can listen to pretty much anything you want, whenever you want, live streamin. Like Youtube, without the images. But here's the fun part.
You can build your own playlists, and then, share them! It becomes very powerful.
3. In that big search area on your home page, start searching for songs. It will give you results, and you can play them.
4. the track with the album cover with load at the bottom and play.
5. Load your the song in your playlist: scroll your mouse over the album cover, choose the I (information) button. You will see the information of the track, similar songs propositions, and a "Add to playlist" button. While adding for the first time, they will ask you for a name of the playlist. you can do that with any number of songs, rather adding to an existing playlist or yours, or choosing "Create new" to start a new one.
6. You can go in "my music", find your playlists in the "Playlists" tab, look at the info and sort them out, delete, or do any file manage you want.
cool.
Then the fun part:
If you look up a friend's name in the search area, you will find results in the People's tab. For example, if you type in Ravemontreal, you will find my account, and playlists I have been building, and you can listen to them.
So I started a playlist called smooth-electro-synth pop, kind of stuff I listen to while I am working. It's not cleaned or sorted out, but it gives you an example of how this can be powerful if people starts doing playlists of their favorite songs and share them.
Have fun.
Enjoy
