What's wrong with Tiago & Poulsen?

What's wrong? Have You seen them playing??? Rarely and that's not because they're crap but because they just don't fit in Italian Football, Poulsen was better of with Sevilla and Schalke 04 and Tiago was better of with Olympic Lyon...

mutu to chelska, played well for the few months he was there but then you had the cocaine ban and everything.

veron to man utd. paid a ton for a worthless player.

i think Yohan might be thinking of Segei Rebrov to Spurs - he didn't do for them. Pavluchenko has been, if anything, Spurs most consistent player this year. everyone else has been terrible around him and he still manages a better strike rate than anyone else on the team.

Every transfer in the past 5 years > Real Madrid

bit harsh. Higuain has great potential & Robben is their best player usually but they did pay way over the odds for him

Albert Luque to Newcastle

Had a good season at malaga by all accounts..

Good player imo, just not suited to the english game.

I disagree. He was highly successful in a depor side that played 4-3-3 on the left side of a front 3. Similar system to what we play at bolton. 4-4-2 means there's more focuso n them to track back & start deeper and it just means that there isn't the same effectiveness.

Disagree with what, that he's a good player or he wasn't suited to play in england?

Ian
suited to play in england. I think that with the right club & system he would've been. We see many times when a club signs a player who did so well playing a particular system or style and then tries to change that and the player flops. Jonas at newcastle now is another, he was awesome playing in a front 3 for Mallorca, Newcastle played him on the right or left of a 4-4-2 and he was ok but not as good as they thought he should be. Some players just lack the adaptability to do something different, but that doesn't make them bad players.

Coloccini to Newcastle...but as someone said earlier, most of the Newcastle squad could make the list

Berbatov to Man UTD : This is mostly my opinion, but I know several Man U fans who are really sick of him already. his penalty against Everton was laughable
